For Grindstone’s third location, we built on the design language and framework first established at their original location in Dundrum and their second location in Dublin Landings and also inspiration taken from Brickyard Gastropub which is owned by the same. This approach ensures that every Grindstone interior carries a clear visual thread while allowing each site to respond to its unique context.
At Boland’s Mill, the space reflects the character of its industrial setting while pushing the brand identity further. A bold interior layers raw industrial heritage with playful colour, texture, and form. The design balances the grit of exposed concrete and brick with saturated greens, soft corals, and curved joinery that create rhythm and intimacy within the space.
The result is a cohesive yet distinctive addition to the Grindstone portfolio, a space that connects back to their earlier stores while confidently standing on its own.
