We were hired by the Dublin Institute of Technology to create a new advertising/branding campaign for their Sports and Societies departments. With over 80 societies and 40 sports clubs on offer, the challenge was to represent them all in only a few images. The aim of the campaign was to showcase the depth and variety of experiences that can be gained from joining Clubs and Societies.
Along with an amazing photographer, Kevin Goss-Ross, we took a lot of inspiration from a number of advertising campaigns while also creating our own unique look which represents the imaginative and creative worlds of the people involved. The sheer variety of skills and experiences that students get involved in is portrayed through the intricate details in the images. There are 11 images in total, each representing a different section/theme of the two departments, be it in music, adventure sports, gaming etc. Numerous meetings, 4 photo shoots and over 110 hours of editing later we produced work which both the client and ourselves were delighted with.
