For Grindstone Dublin Landings, we created a new interior concept that established the direction for the brand going forward. Set within an industrial shell, the design embraces the raw character of the space - exposed concrete, high ceilings, and visible services - and balances it with warmth, colour, and softness. A confident palette of saturated greens and soft corals is layered with timber, planting, and tactile finishes to create an atmosphere that feels both energetic and welcoming.
Curved banquette seating and rounded tables introduce a gentle rhythm through the café, offering a mix of perch, pause, and linger moments along the façade. A sculptural counter anchors the space as the central social point, paired with integrated retail and waiting zones that keep the customer journey clear and intuitive. The overhead fabric installation sets a sence of space for this central point.
The result is a distinctive, contemporary café that sets the blueprint for subsequent Grindstone locations, including Boland’s Mill and the evolving Dundrum store.
